Our story
Stitched Right, the First Time
We work on the parts of a car that get touched every day: the seats, the headliner, the soft top. When a headliner is sagging and the old glue is falling apart, or a leather seat has gone dry and cracked after years in the sun, we take it apart, rebuild it, and match every line and seam back the way it should be.
The work runs from a 1998 Mercedes to a brand new Tesla, and from custom-fit seat covers to a torn convertible top that was never installed correctly the first time. We have also fixed things that never had wheels attached to a car at all, like a well loved double stroller a family did not want to replace.
We are based right in Sand City and take the time to listen to what a customer actually wants before we start cutting material, then stand behind the fit and finish once the job is done.

What customers say
“He did a great job repairing our double stroller for a very reasonable price. It saved us from needing to buy a new one. Thank you!”
“The headliner on my 1998 Mercedes was falling out and the old glue was falling on me. Ben at Rick's Upholstery did an amazing job replacing it. The upholstery is clean and tight, all lines and seams match up, and it's simply beautiful. Ben was helpful and listened to what I had to say, and made good on his word. My car looks great.”
“I recently purchased seat covers for my new Tesla. I took the seat covers to Ben at Rick's Upholstery for professional installation, and he did an outstanding job ensuring everything fit perfectly. A week later one headrest cover was oversized, and Ben kindly offered to tailor it free of charge. I highly recommend Rick's Upholstery to anyone seeking top-notch craftsmanship and attention to detail!”
